Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey
Circus

This circus has been a part of my life for many years. I have been going since I was 3 years old. This circus has many different shows. This year they have three shows, Over the Top, Zing Zang Zoom, and Boom a Ring. These three shows tour all over the United States of America. The show Over the Top will be performing in Hershey, Pennsylvania May 20, 2009-May 25, 2009. The show Zing Zang Zoom will be performing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania May 13, 2009-May 25, 2009. If the show is in your area and it is convenient I recommend you go see the show.
The show Over the Top includes dogs flying, Asian elephants stomping, the globe of steel with 12 motorcycles revving through, and many many more. The audience has a very big part in participation. There are also Chinese acrobats propelling through the air. Now doesn’t that sound like a lot of fun? I think it does. The show Zing Zang Zoom includes four-ton elephants! There are also two human cannonballs, magic tricks and surprises, Arabian horses, Bengal tigers, and human performers to make the show all tie together.

Features Article(Television Show Review)

What I Like About You
By Jessica Szymanski

The show What I Like About You premiers on ABC Family and The N. I watch this show a lot and think it’s entertaining. But you’re not looking for my opinion you want the review.
Basically 16-year-old Holly (Amanda Bynes) adjusts to living with her 28-year-old sister, Valerie (Jennie Garth), in New York City. Their father has gone overseas and left his youngest in the hands of her big sister. Of course, the 10-plus year age difference doesn't help the two get along.
Holly and Val get along on some things but mostly they disagree. They help each other out with their relationship problems which normally end up in knots. Yes, like many teenage girls or even young adults have relationship problems. Holly and Val work through their problems but it shows a way of expression even on television.
There are many characters that participate on the show What I Like About You. There is Holly, Val, Vick, Tina, Henry, Rick, Gary, Jeff, Vince, Ben, and Lauren. Vick, Jeff, and Rick are boyfriends or previous boyfriends of Val’s. Henry, Ben, and Vince are boyfriends or previous boyfriends of Holly’s. Gary and Tina are Holly’s best friends. Lauren is Val’s best friend and a real jokester.
The show premiers on ABC Family and The N. The times of the show on ABC family are 4:00-4:30pm. On The N the show comes on at 8:00pm and continues until 10:00pm. So take what you want from the review and check out the show!

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs™

Today when I woke up I was watching the news and was waiting for the weather. When the weather portion of the news came up I was astonished to see that the weather was slight winds a temperature of 65°F and cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs I have never heard of that before. Food falling from the sky that is crazy talk.
At first I thought that I was losing my mind. So then I looked at the television again and saw that I wasn’t losing my mind. The weather was actually true, I later found out that day. Yes, that’s right I was walking out of he deli I had just had my lunch and a giant meatball was twenty feet above my head. I quickly ran towards an over hang and then returned back home.
When I was back at home safe and sound I watched the news for the third time today and saw that this was a state emergency that meatballs were falling from the sky. The rest of the day I stayed inside and went to bed early. When I awoke the next morning I swore that yesterday was just a dream.

My Packing Article

Have you ever gone on a trip and forgotten to pack something? I know that I have, and so have many other Cab Calloway students. I took a survey from different people who write the newspaper. Many of them said that they forget to pack deodorant most of the time. The good thing is that you can purchase deodorant at any convenience store. Some things like: your cell phone charger and contacts are things that you can just not refund easily. If you forget your cell phone charger you have some trouble and will probably get in a lot of trouble. It is easy to see that if you forget your contacts…well you can’t see. There are many ways that people could try not to forget things and the number one I recommend is to make a list about 1 week from when you leave for vacation so if you forget to add anything you will have plenty of time to add it to your list .The point I am trying to make is that people every year especially around the holidays go on vacation and forget to pack some important things. So when you are packing up your things don’t forget something that you will need!
